Essential storage only

Geosento currently uses essential first-party cookies for sessions and request security. We do not deploy advertising cookies or audience analytics trackers. Essential storage is used to provide the service you request; the cookie notice is an explanation, not a request to consent to tracking. You can read this policy without accepting optional cookies.

What is stored in your browser

sessionid · first-party cookie

Maintains sign-in and guest report access. HttpOnly, Secure on HTTPS, SameSite=Lax. Expires after up to 14 days; a new session or sign-in can renew it.

csrftoken · first-party cookie

Protects actions against cross-site request forgery. Secure on HTTPS, SameSite=Lax. Expires after up to approximately one year; use of the service can renew it.

geosento.cookie-notice · local storage

Records that you dismissed the essential-cookie notice, its policy version and expiry. Valid for 180 days, then ignored and replaced after a new acknowledgement. It is stored only in your browser and is not sent to an analytics service. Browser controls can remove it earlier.

Sign-in and payment services

Choosing Google sign-in takes you to Google, which controls storage on its own pages. Starting or resuming Paddle checkout loads its secure payment resources, which can use storage for payment, security and fraud prevention. Those services have their own Google privacy and Paddle privacy notices. The cookie notice does not authorise those providers to use optional advertising trackers on Geosento.

Your controls

Use Cookie settings in the footer to reopen the notice and review current storage. There are currently no optional analytics or marketing categories to enable. You can block or delete storage in your browser, but blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in, scans or access to guest reports. Removing a guest session cookie does not itself delete reports on the server.

If we introduce optional tracking, it must remain off until the required separate choice has been obtained. A new purpose cannot rely on your acknowledgement of this essential-cookie notice. For personal-data requests, see our Privacy policy.
